During one of the hottest weekends of 2013 Anglo/Italian boot brand Fiorentini + Baker indulged its fetish for festivals and set up a backstage pop up at London’s Lovebox. The marquee hosted some of the festival’s biggest names, such as Kelis, Jurassic 5 and Leanne La Havas who all stopped by to meet the designer Deborah Baker and get their hands on a pair of the highly coveted boots and shoes, before heading off to the main stage to perform to a packed Victoria Park.
To kick off the festival the brand also hosted a Lovebox warm up party at its Shoreditch store, with a special appearance by London based band KOMLA. The party rocked Rivington Street and was just a taste of what was in store in the days to come.
The weekend’s events also included three lucky festival-goers being plucked from the crowd and kitted out with a pair of F+B boots which were personally customised by the designer Deborah Baker. They also had their portrait taken by Fiorentini + Baker’s in house photographer, which was subsequently featured in the brand’s lookbook.
All proceeds raised from the warm up party and the Pop up were donated to the Each One Teach One charity of which singer/song writer Plan B is patron. Keep your eyes peeled this summer for Fiorentini + Baker’s next festival appearance.
